Sandbox: Creating, playing and performing in Immersive Worlds

Drawing together theatremakers, game designers, academics, performers and architects In The Sandbox will be the first large-scale symposium exploring what lies in the future of immersive performance and design.

At its core, In The Sandbox aims to feed collaboration between a new generation of practitioners by breaking silos of practice, working together to explore how to break down barriers to widen public engagement.

Oscar Blustin and Becky Brown are SPECIFIQ - a London-based site-specific and immersive theatre company. Previous work includes commissions for the National Theatre, Durham’s UNESCO World Heritage Site, the National Maritime Museum, the Tower Bridge Engine Rooms, the London Transport Museum and many more
